Our belief is that everyone is an individual and as such each service that is to be offered to a person should be designed to be specific to the needs/wants/desires of that lady or gentleman.

 Person Centred Approach

Underpinning our work in supporting  people, is that all service users should be offered a Person Centred Plan. We believe that this will help us to focus on what the individual wishes to achieve, both in the short and long term.

Family Involvement

As we are a ' Family Led ' organisation it is vital that the individual Service Users family maintain a close interest their son/daughters lives. We actively encourage that continued involvement.

Supporting People

Before we are able to offer support to a Service User, there are certain criteria to be met.These are as follows :

A)  The Service User must already reside in the Rossendale Valley or wish to return to live in the Rossendale Valley.

B) They and their family must become members of Valley Supported Living.The cost of this is £5 per family annually.
